Vietnam Carbon Trade Exchange – Pilot Preparation with Ministry of Finance
This technical assistance supports Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance in designing and preparing a pilot model for the Vietnam Carbon Trade Exchange (CTX), a cornerstone of the country’s carbon market set for full launch by 2029. Through global best practice analyses, operational modelling, impact assessments, and capacity building, the project aims to ensure an effective, transparent, and financially sustainable CTX by catalyzing private investment, enabling emissions trading, and advancing Vietnam’s climate and net-zero goals.
