Diagnostic for Competitive Arrangements for Energy Transition (DCAT)

The aim of the project is to derisk renewable energy by developing a system to optimise market mechanisms in oder to facilitate competitive renewable energy in the country’s energy supply. The provided a diagnosis of current power-purchasing systems in Indonesia, the Phillipines and Vietnam, to develop an understanding of existing barriers and draft an action agenda for authorities to implement and adopt market mechanisms. The foundation set through the DCAT project is expected to be succeeded by programmes seeking to implement market mechanisms.
