Formulation of the Bangsamoro Sustainable Energy Master Plan (BARMM)
Formulating the BARMM Sustainable Energy Master Plan through this technical assistance will empower the Bangsamoro Government to establish a robust energy planning process. The Plan will detail effective and strategic methods for the sustainable development and judicious utilization of the Bangsamoro region’s renewable energy resources that are based on supply-demand data and forecasts. Furthermore, it will develop strategies for integrating low-carbon pathways in line with the region’s sustainable development goals and create an energy investment plan framework. A strong emphasis on capacity-building activities and information transfer to policymakers will ensure the long-term sustainability of this initiative.
This ongoing project will culminate in the pioneering Bangsamoro Energy Summit.
