Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue: The Role of International Partnership Translating Ambition Into Action

Accelerating Energy transition is crucial, but how can ambitions be translated into action?

To tackle this question, ETP joined the 9th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue, to share the Partnership’s experience and ideas for a global just energy transition.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Sirpa Jarvenpaa, ETP Director, presented several key levers to globally accelerate and sustain the energy transition at the Energy Transition Dialogue W4: Global Energy Transition – Translating Ambition Into Action, held in Berlin on 29 March.

“The importance of public-private partnerships, such as ETP, in enhancing the needed access to finance, cannot be over-emphasized. The private sector can finance energy transition investments, while the public sector can craft policies and pave the way to investment project pipelines steering the private sector finance to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy destinations.”
